Infrared heaters are dangerous
All heating systems supplied by Heating Green are UL or ETL listed meaning they go through rigorous testing, the same way as household appliances, and are tested for safe use in your home or yoga studio. Infrared heating systems do not have dangerous rays or microwave people, they have similar far infrared effects like the sun and feel cozy like sitting next to a fireplace.
Heat rises so infrared heaters on the ceiling are useless
Heat rises in the presence of cold air, and by the method of infrared heating– the mass is being heated which in turn heats the air. Instead of hot air being pushed through your house and there is hot and cold air, this happens gradually. The position of the infrared heater on the ceiling or a cove position has the benefit of gravity working in your favor, helping the radiant heat go down towards you and your couch! Creating a cozy feeling wherever you are and comfortably warming everything around you.
Turning up your thermostat more will make your heater work harder
Infrared heaters only have on & off capabilities when connected to power. Even when the thermostat is turned up by a few degrees, your infrared heater turns on to its only and full capacity and works until the desired ambient temperature is reached. The infrared heater then cycles on and off to maintain the temperature, making it more efficient for consistent use.
