The Heating Green Story:
Heating Green started out in 2007 out of a single bedroom condo in Bellingham, WA. Today we are still located in Bellingham and have designed and provided electric infrared heating products for indoor and outdoor applications worldwide, ranging from over 1,100 commercial yoga studios to single/multi-family homes and thousands of other residential and commercial applications. Our infrared heating products are made in the USA and they truly are the best… providing sun-like warmth and “greater comfort using less energy,” especially when compared to many of the outdated and inefficient products on the market.
Mission: We are an innovative company that provides the best infrared heating products to enhance comfort and serve communities through worldwide applications.
Vision: We are in the business of helping people live more comfortably in everyday life.
Values: We believe in a culture where individuals can be and do their best by serving others with honesty, integrity, education, and fostering relationships while having fun in the process.
Not perfect: We’d love to say that we don’t make mistakes, we’re not perfect and recognize that there are ways that we can improve, so please, if there is anything we can do to make your experience better I would love to hear from you. Greater Comfort Using Less Energy
Jeff Caldwell | President and Founder
Jeff has extensive experience in manufacturing and engineering. After beginning his career working in the aerospace and healthcare products industries, he founded Heating Green in 2007. Hailing from Maine, Jeff’s education includes studies in business management and mechanical engineering technology. Heating Green was a natural extension of the combination of these passions, allowing him to focus on understanding great products and bringing them to markets where customers appreciate the value they present.
Jeff spends a lot of his free time with his wife Natalie, son Jack, daughter Freya, family, and friends. He enjoys home improvements (most of the time), cooking Thai food, fishing the San Juan Islands, biking, reading, traveling, and enjoying God’s creation.
Jeff Abel | Vice President of Sales
Jeff has over a decade of experience in sales, marketing, finance, and business development. His roles have included management of sales and marketing at an international manufacturer of heavy machinery, as well as an advisor in the financial industry helping clients start or acquire new businesses. Jeff has a passion for entrepreneurship and graduated with a degree in Business Administration from the University of Washington. At Heating Green, Jeff enjoys collaborating on new heating projects with customers, many of whom are entrepreneurs themselves.
Outside of work, Jeff is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys skiing, paddle boarding, hiking, camping, and exploring new places in the northwest, often with a camera in hand and his Golden Retriever at his side.
Lauren Adkins | Marketing & Customer Service
Lauren came to us back in March of 2020 after working in the coffee industry. She graduated from Western Washington University with a degree in Business Management and a Minor in Entrepreneurship. During her time at Heating Green, she has worn many hats from Marketing to Customer Support! Lauren enjoys solving problems, collaborating with her collogues on new ideas, and brightening up the office with her infectious laughter.
Outside of the office, she can be found hiking with her two lab mixes, camping, climbing, or drinking a tasty IPA at one of Bellingham’s many breweries.
