Our manufacturer, Ducoterra, announced the release of a brand new Sola-Ray heating panel. The Sola-Ray II uses aluminum construction, which cuts the weight of the panel in half relative to the old steel- construction model. The reduced weight makes the panels cheaper and more eco-friendly to ship and easier to install.
The design of the Sola-Ray II is also more streamlined than the old panel. Ducoterra did away with the rivets along the side of the panel making for a sleeker, more aesthetically pleasing product.
Ducoterra sent us a Sola-Ray II to test out a couple weeks ago and they’ve done an excellent job imputing their customer’s feedback and streamlining the panel’s design.
